Safety Turf will install your new surface using two layers of custom rubber surfacing. The first is a precise combination of recycled SBR and Butyl rubber mixed on site with a MDI polyurethane prepolymer binder. The recycled SBR and Butyl rubber, also known as the “Cushion Layer,” provides a soft, bouncy impact attenuation surface and can be installed at multiple thicknesses. All of our Cushion Layer material is 100% recycled rubber. 

The second layer, or the “Wear Layer,” is EPDM or TPV rubber granules and a MDI polyurethane prepolymer binder.  The EPDM or TPV rubber granules can come in a variety of different colors and combinations.  Custom designs are also available for your poured-in-place safety surfacing.
